Teaching Our Kids to Become Good Little Socialists

This week (of 3/10/19) I read an article on https://www.zerohedge.com about 50 actual college courses that America's universities are using to train those committed to their educational charge to become socialists. It was authored by Michael Snyder and originally appeared on his blog The End of The American Dream.
Mr. Snyder said: "What in the world are they teaching to our young people? As you go through the list of college course titles below, I am sure many of you will be completely shocked. Most parents assume they are sending their children to college to get prepared for their future careers but the truth is that a lot of our major colleges and universities have become little more than indoctrination centers for progressive thought. Our college students are literally being systematically trained to be socialists, and it is working. According to a brand new Harris poll that was just released, 37.2 percent of all Americans 'prefer living in a socialist country'. But for Millennials and Generation Z combined, that figure is 49.6 percent. That means that essentially half of our young adults want to be socialists, and that has enormous implications for the future of our society." You need to go back and read this paragraph again and take a good hard look at the numbers. If this is true, and I have no reason to doubt Mr. Snyder's observations, then this country may well be a totally socialist country before this present generation of young folks dies out. What, then, happens to their children--our grandchildren?
Parents really need to do some serious homework in making the decision as to where to send their kids to college, or even if they should send them to college.
Mr. Snyder accurately observes that: "Progressives have a stranglehold on higher education in the United States, and they are training future generations of leaders to think just like them." Absolutely scary! Just imagine millions of young Alexandria what's-her-middle-name Cortez's running all over this country trying to force their "progressivism (rank socialism) down our throats! And what if some of them end up being your sons and daughters? What do you do then?
To prove his point, Michael Snyder then lists 50 different colleges and course titles to demonstrate that kids who imbibe these are, in fact, being taught to be socialists. I'm not going to list all of them but I will list a few, enough so you will get the idea.
#1 Harvard University: FRSEMR 620--Who is a Fascist? Culture and Politics on the Radical Right. This has got to be a real beaut--considering that Fascism, like all totalitarian systems, is really over on the Left with Communism, its ugly second cousin.
#4 University of Alabama: SW 351--Oppression and Social Justice.
#5 University of Florida: WST 3349--Ecofeminism
#13 University of Minnesota: CSCL 3405--Marx for Today.
#19 University of Maryland: WMST 300--Feminist Reconceptualizations of Knowledge
#34 Swarthmore College: RELG 032--Queering God: Feminist and Queer Theology.
#40 Pomona College: GWS142--Queering Childhood.
#44 Creighton University: ANT 178--Global Citizenship.
No doubt as opposed to national citizenship!
This is but one small sampling but from this you can get some idea of what the rest are like. I noted some of the tamer ones.
How many of you would want your sons and daughters going to college to learn this stuff--for several thousand dollars per year? It's called paying for your own destruction!
I've mentioned before that, over the years, I worked at a couple colleges and got to see some of what the kids were being spoon-fed in the name of education. Back then some of the worst the colleges could do was to invite Communists in to brainwash the kids. I have to tell you that, as bad and evil as that was, it paled by comparison to some of this stuff today.
However, today, this is where we are at. Lots and lots of colleges are really in the business of training your kids to become good, doctrinaire socialists. That's their real aim and agenda. All they have to do is make sure the parents don't figure that out. As I said earlier, parents, especially Christian parents have really got to do the homework regarding where your kids attend college. And don't just assume that, should you choose a Christian college, all will be well. They have to be checked out just as rigorously as the secular ones because they ain't all as pure as the driven snow either. I don't envy parents today that are tasked with finding a decent college education for their kids. They have a daunting challenge in front of them. They had better learn how to be up to it or they risk losing their kids.
